Men and women made candles by pouring animal fats into special molds or by using bee’s wax to fashion pillars of usable light. As technology progressed, the practical need for candles has been virtually eliminated, but the design aspect is still firmly in practice. In addition to using these old fashioned lights for their beauty, you can also enjoy their fantastic smells and colors that are sure to appeal to almost all of your senses.

Whenever you choose candle lights to illuminate your home, be sure to take safety into account. You may need to place a screen or other physical barrier between your living space and the candles in your firebox, especially if you have small children or pets who can still become severely burned by the candle lights.
